ELECTRICITY
The days of cheap electricity have gone. Lights, photo-copiers, computer monitors….do they need to be left on overnight (A photocopier left on overnight can waste enough energy to make 5,400 copies. Screen-savers use twice the amount of energy than PCs when not in use!). Fridges and freezers….are they being used efficiently? Cellar cooling…are cellar doors being left open? Businesses now need to look at their energy efficiency.
There are many Electricity suppliers out there. Their mantra is bottom line profit, it’s not surprising that corners are cut, services are reduced, so when it comes to customer service, many electricity suppliers leave a lot to be desired!
The Energy Company has been dealing with suppliers since before Utility de-regulation in 1997-98. We understand how they work, the tariffs they use, and, most importantly, the state of the energy markets at any one time. This market intelligence can minimise the risks of entering into new contracts at the wrong price/time.
Tariff Analysis
As an integral part of our service to our clients, we will check and advise that you are on the most cost effective tariff for your business.
Bill Analysis
Incorrect charging by suppliers is not uncommon. As part of our service to our clients, The Energy Company will examine your historic electricity billing to ensure there have been no overcharging issues. If identified, we will negotiate with the supplier to secure refunds.
Renewals
We will remind you in plenty of time when your contract is coming to an end. Different suppliers have different termination periods. A number do not remind you or, certainly not in a timely manner
Free
Our services described above are all free of any charges. Should you agree to move to a supplier we recommend, they will pay us a broker’s fee. If, on your instructions, we pursue a claim for a refund or reduction of a bill or bills, and are successful, there may be a proportionate charge, but that would be agreed before we start.
